Not 1, not 2, but 5 teams headed to the Eccles 3G all-weather pitch on Sunday morning for what was nothing short of a under 7s 'Royal Rumble'. Teams from Eccles, Orrel, Ashton, Alywinians and Oldham all took part.
To be honest, it was pandemonium, and for the coaches it was a bit like a maths exam (if you had 64 kids, how many 4 a side games of rugby can you play without subs?) but everyone involved seemed to love it. What the club is all about. Thanks to everyone for travelling.
