Can I just turn up? 

Since 1897 Eccles RFC has welcomed new players, members and supporters with open arms. We appreciate you’ll want to experience what the club offers before you commit to registering as a player or member, so if you’d like to attend a training session please first contact the club by email info@ecclesrfc.org.uk and we'll put you in contact with the relevant coach or team manager.

When do the Seniors train?

Men & Women train Tuesdays and Thursdays 19:00 - 20:30. There's also Saturday Touch Rugby during the summer 10:00-12:00. New recruits are welcomed. Please contact Director of Rugby Sam Simpson 07935 403171 or Ladies Head Coach James Wright 07791 227616

When do the Minis & Juniors train? 

Wednesday evening training is typically 18.30 start depending on age group, please check with your team manager or coach. Sunday training typically starts at 10.00 am depending on age group. See the map below for pitch allocation. We have teams from U5-U16 for boys and girls. New recruits are always welcomed. How much is membership? 

We beleive in Rugby for All. To keep Rugby accessible to our community our membership represents unrivalled value. Senior Players (Men and Women), Colts and Junior Players all pay the same fess of £100. Walking Rugby Player £25. Non-Player £25. More details here MEMBERSHIP

What facilities does the club have?

Four grass pitches, floodlight 3G training pitch, physio facilities, gym with weights and cardio equipment, clubhouse with bar, kitchen, cafe, Wi-Fi, Sky Sports, conference room ( international media newsroom and first team hot tub in planning) More details here FACILITIES

Where can I get club kit? 

Eccles RFC have worn the iconinc Navy and White hoops for over 100 years. A wide range of club apparel, including socks and shorts, are available here CLUB SHOP

How can I get involved and help?

Coaches, Managers, First Aiders, Photographers, Match reporters, Administrators, Groundskeepers, Chief Cooks and Bottle Washers are lavished with praise at Eccles RFC. If you'd like to join thier celebrated ranks please email volunteer@ecclesrfc.org.uk 

Have you found my boots/bag/keys/phone/sense of humour?

If you’ve lost or left items at Eccles RFC there is the possibility the club’s resident collectomaniac and Bar Manager Marie Wilson 07908 667160 may have it stored safely alongside Lord Lucan, Shergar, the Holy Grail and last season’s silverwear in one of her many cupboards.

What time is Kick Off?

Team managers will communicate meet up details and kick off times for players typically through team whatsapp groups. Spectators can follow the club’s news published daily on Twitter @EcclesRugby

What pitch am I on?

Senior and Colts teams typically play on Pitch 1 or Pitch 3 under the tunnel and you'll find details written on the channging room board on Match Day. Mini and Junior teams will typically occupy the areas indicated on the map below unless otherwise advised by the team manager.
