2024/25 Season Awards

The end of the 2024/25 season was celebrated with series of marquee presentations where players and volunteers were recognised for thier exceptional performance and contribution to the club in the past year. As an aide to hazy recollections a list of awards is publsihed below. Congratulations to the winners. Once you've shown your mum the trophy please return it to the club so we're not hunting for it next next April! 

HARRY BROOMHEAD TROPHY - ALAN BENT

Club member 52 years, Junior coach 23 years, Walking Rugby lead runner 6 years, Vice President 10 years, President 3 years, Chief Fossil and Fixer, Benty epitomises a life spent in committed, devoted service to the club and to the game.

ECCLES MEMORIAL TROPHY - JOHN WHAILING

Former Captain of the Mens 3XV, this season John committed himself as a player, pulling on a shirt for numerous Senior Rugby teams, alongside offering his support in coaching the Women, coaching the U13 Juniors, and even taking up Walking Rugby whilst recovering from injury. A popular member of the club, always smiling and willing to lend a hand.
