The club is delighted to announce that our Men's 2XV are all set to blaze into the new season in a new shirt sponsored by Cannon Electrical Contractors Ltd.
Cannon have previously sponsored senior players at Eccles RFC and with the return of rugby now confirmed for September we were especially pleased that Joe Dillon, the third generation director of the family run business decided to extend their support of our community club and visited us on Saturday to personally present Sam Simpson, DoR and John Hibbert, 2XV captain, with the brand new kit.
Cannon were formed in 1958 by Joe's grandfather with offices and stores in New Cannon Street Manchester. The contractors are now based in Trafford Park and are engaged in the design, maintenance, inspection, testing and commissioning of electrical installations, including data network cabling for commercial and industrial clients.
