Dear members, the AGM will be held on Monday 5 July, starting 8pm.
As a result of Monday's goverment announcement delaying the lifting of lockdown restrictions, the club committe have decided not to postpone the AGM, but rather continue with hosting it inside the clubhouse for those who wish to attend in person. Seats will be positioned at the required social distance. Capacity will be restricted to 30 seated people who book a seat in advance using this LINK
Anyone who wishes to attend the AGM remotely will be able to do so via a Zoom link, which will be provided to those who apply by email to members@ecclesrfc.org.uk
The Annual General Meeting is an opportunity for members to hear reports on the past 12 months of activity from the club officers, ask questions regarding the business and direction of the club and participate in the election of club officers for the year ahead.
Any member wishing to nominate a fellow club member as an Officer or Senior Captain should email their nomination to the Club Secretary at members@ecclesrfc.org.uk, CCing their nominee and a second club member acting as 'seconder’.
Nominations are welcome for all club committee positions, but in particular for the vacant positions of Chairman, Honorary Secretary, Mini & Junior Chair and Communications Officer. (Please note Social Members and M&J Members are not eligible to vote)
Anyone wishing to raise any points for AOB should email them to members@ecclesrfc.org.uk The deadline for both nominations and points of AOB is one week before the meeting, Monday 28th June.
