Bill's Lowe's funeral service was held today, at Altrincham Crematorium, Dunham Massey.
Club members that attended reported it went as well as it could have given the circumstances and a notable landmark was reached in Bill's memory with £170 in donations collected for the Christopher Tickle fund, which marvellously takes the fund for research into spinal injuries over its £20,000 target by £2.00.

Sadly, the planned gathering at Eccles RFC afterwards was cancelled in line with the family's wishes.
