Following a few weeks of storms and poor weather stopping play, this morning at Eccles we saw over 300 girls and boys from ages u5s - u16s play rugby!
The u6s hosted a team from Oldham and had a fabulous and fun-filled joint training session.
The u7s and u8s held a mini tournament on our 3G all weather pitch with teams including Ashton-under-Lyne, Orrell, Oldham, Old Bedians and Alwinians all competing. In total over 60 players got tag rugby games!
All the other age groups (apart from the under 14s in training for their backpacking fundraising next weekend ) played competitive games with teams from Ashton-under-Lyne ,Orrell and Aldwinians.
Thank you to all the coaches, managers, volunteers, clubhouse kitchen staff, parents and spectators for making an exceptional day like this possible.
