With the rising cost of living and energy hitting home we anticipate many local families and pensioners will be facing real hardship this winter.
As a community club we intend to do something positive and practical to support those who need it.
Starting this weekend Eccles RFC will be launching a Foodbank donation initiative.
All donations of cans and packs of non-perishable goods are welcome.
This week the most in demand items at our local foodbank is jam, instant mash, UHT milk, tinned meat and rice pudding.
Cereal, Soup, Pasta and Rice are also needed.
The clubhouse collection point will be identified with the FEEL GOOD FOOD graphic.
Sarah Trowbridge has volunteered to box up and deliver the goods to the Foodbank, if you’d like to lend a hand please speak with her directly.
A little generosity can go a long way.
Please donate if you can.
