Congratulations to Connor Thornley, voted Player's Player of the Year and Coach of the Year for 2020, by his club the Evans River Killer Whales, NSW, Australia. 

Connor last played for Eccles in the 2015/16 season and has been with Evans River Rugby club for the past 4 seasons which has seen them reach successive regional Grand Finals. Connor coached the Ladies team last season and they reached their first ever Grand Final. Evans Head is situated near to Byron bay, close to the border with Queensland, 130 miles south of Brisbane, 430 miles north of Sydney, on a glorious beach that stretches endlessly up the North Coast of New South Wales. It's warm there right now, they have beer, and their rugby season is about to start!
