The club would like to express sincere thanks to all who pledged their support for the Eccles RFC Covid Recovery Crowdfunder.  In one month 350 supporters have raised £41,881 towards our goals! Along the way we received £8,000 match funding from Sport England, a £10,000 endorsement from Salford City Council and recieved many generous donations from local business, sponsors, old and new friends.

When we began our appeal a few weeks ago we adopted an all or nothing approach and backed our members and community to support us.  Your commitment has seen us reach beyond what we hoped to achieve. Thanks to your support, we can look forward to welcoming you back to improved club facilities this summer, which is is not too far away now that covid restrictions have begun to lift.

In the days ahead we will begin to contact supporters with details for the collection of rewards. The prize draw will be made this Saturday morning on the 1XV pitch, before Touch rugby kciks off and the winners will be shared on social media, where we'll also be publishing regular updates on the progress of our projects.

Thank you Crowdfunders. We're back in the game. You made this happen!
