Eccles RFC Girls Touch Rugby Tournament

Eccles RFC are hosting a Girls Touch Rugby festival on 12th July, 12.30 - 3pm.

Aimed at combined teams of years 8 and 9, the format of the day will be 

  • 7aside
  • Touch rugby rules (7 minute games)
  • 2 pool tournament with every team progressing to a final 

Changing facilities and parking are all available on site. The festival will be run by qualified RFU staff and club volunteers. The purpose of the festival is to promotion of rugby to girls in Salford and recruitment for Eccles RFC. The Ladies section is over 20 years old at Eccles RFC and the girls section has been very successful in developing girls through to county, senior rugby and England u20s.
