Eccles wins National Club Award

At the National Club Awards, held in Leicester, Eccles Rugby Football Club and Canterbury Rugby Football Club were jointed awarded 2024 RUGBY CLUB OF THE YEAR. 

Eccles RFC was a nominated finalist in 2019 and this year went a step further as a nominated finalist in 3 categories - Community Club of the Year, Innovative Club of the Year and Rugby Club of the Year.  

We're delighted to receive this accolade from such a respected, established organisation and against such a strong field of finalists including Cheltenham Rugby Club, Eton Manor RFC, Silhillians RUFC, Sandown and Shanklin RFC, Old Leamingtonians RFC and Maidstone Rugby Club.

The Awards were presented by John Inverdale and Chris Ashton. Innovative Club of the Year Award was won by the BBC Club and Community Club of the Year was won by the Leeds Irish Centre.
