Following the success of our recent 'Peel Green' replica shirt launch, we're now offering supporters a limited opportunity to get thier hands on a replica Eccles RFC iconic hooped shirt. Made by O'Neills in adult sizes (£45) from the same fabric but in a slightly loser fit than the tight-fit senior match jersey.  You can also have your choice of number on the back at no extra cost. The new 125th Anniversay 2022/23 Season Senior match shirt is here and it's a beauty.

The club’s 125th Anniversary provided the perfect opportunity to explore a fresh interpretation of our iconic hooped shirt, first worn in 1921, and our diagonal stripe badge, first seen on our 1905 shirt.  Work began on the bespoke design at the end of last season with development, fabric tests and manufacturing continuing throughout the summer into autumn. 
The new 2022 shirt presents a retrospective, clean, classic style, which on closer inspection reveals a contemporary treatment in the details: 

The enlarged Eccles RFC badge breaks the constraints of the hoop, representing club growth, from humble beginings on the banks of the ship canal and a pair of ex-army huts, to where we stand today.     
The bold navy blue hoops carry a watermark of diagonal stripes, echoing the swing bridge motif from the Eccles RFC badge.  
The sleeves and shoulders proudly feature our stalwart sponsors amongst a 125-year pattern of Lancashire Roses and Eccles Crosses.
The gold numerals pay tribute to our quasquicentennial.

Incorporating these symbols from our club identity and heritage has resulted in a shirt that is distinctly and uniquely ‘Eccles’. 
We hope our players and members can take pride in it and will join us in thanking our club partners, O’Neills Sportwear, Sewards Refrigeration and First Chop Brewery for their continued commitment and support.

The brand new Eccles Senior Shirt was worn by the players for the first time on Saturday and all three mens teams marked the occassion with a win.  The images below show the design development of the shirt, modelled by 2XV Captain Mr Matthew Parkinson (boots and hair model's own).

The new 125th Anniversay 2022/23 Season Mini & Junior Training Top. 

As you might expect, new Junior Training top interprets the design of the new Senior shirt in a bold, youthful expression, combining the hoops and diagonal lines as thunderbolts! The sleeves proudly display Lancashire Roses, Eccles Crosses and our Sponsors. We managed to get a few of them to sit still long enough for some photos. 

Once again the club would like to extend its thanks and appreciation to DHI, Perfect Landscaping, MOJO and Morson for their generous contributions and continuing support of Junior Rugby at the club.
