Accurate membership data and contact details helps our club to communicate and operate efficiently, keeping people informed, playing rugby and engaged in our community.
Please can we ask all players, parents and volunteers to find a few minutes in the next week to log into your GMS accounts, to check personal details and add any missing information.
This month, the RFU will be identifying individual records with missing data in order to perform a membership data clean-up. The missing data could be former members and players who have moved on, stopped playing or have never provided their full details. From the first week of August, The RFU will begin to archive the records of anyone who doesn't meet the Minimum Data Standard:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Home Postcode (Home Address)
- Gender
- Email Address, verified (for Age Grade records it's a verified parent/guardian email address)
Please note if you are not a registered member of Eccles RFC, and GMS does not hold your correct email address you will not be receiving our club updates and news. Please also note that individuals over 18 must have logged in to GMS in the last two years to remain ‘active’ and all records will be assessed in this way from August 2021.
