The Eccles 1XV will be looking to repeat the League and Cup Double success of our 3XV when they face Littleborough once again in the Lancashire Plate Final, this Sunday 7th May 2023, with a 1pm Kick Off at Leigh RUFC.
Eccles are the 2022 holders of the Lancashire Plate Trophy, having beaten Littleborough 31-26 with a late converted try in an exciting final at Wigan last May.
Retaining the Lancashire Plate for the first time in the club's history, and adding it to the Counties 2 Lancashire & Cheshire League title already secured, will be a significant achievement for the Eccles men and will require a season's best performance, backed by a season's best travelling support. So let's play our part and make a big effort to get behind the 1XV in force with a navy and white touchline on Sunday.
