The 1XV will commence thier 2023/24 campaign on the road this Saturday when they travel to Burnage in the opening round of the Lancashire Trophy.
The Eccles men, who begin the season in Counties 1 (Level 7) as Lancashire Plate Winners and promoted Champions will face a tough challenge in the county cup competiton from the Regional 2 (Level 6) outfit, who will be looking to hit the astro turf running following relegation at the end of last season from Regional 1 NW (Level 5).

Meanwhile at home, a combined 2XV/3XV/4XV team will entertain Holmes Chapel, in a pre-season friendly with plenty of refreshments remaining from the Beer Festival last Saturday for supporters of both clubs.
Our visitors play thier rugby in the NOWIRUL Division 2 South, so it'll be a competitve test for our 3s and 4s who'll be playing in NOWIRUL Division 4 and Division 5 next season.
