Saturdays
With the lifting of hospitality lockdown restrictions, Eccles RFC will be reopening this Saturday afternoon, 17th April, 12:00-18:30pm, to serve food & drink to customers seated in our al fresco Parcheggio. To ensure the club operates safely and within the law all members and visitors eating or drinking on the club premises must observe the following:
- Only customers seated outdoors will be served. Please bear in mind the weather forecast as club can not provide indoor shelter for adverse conditions.
- Toilet facilities will be available but otherwise the clubhouse remains closed and there are no changing facilities on site at this time.
- Tables will be arranged to accommodate groups of up to 6 people and will be socially distanced with 2m spacing.
- Our outdoor seating capacity is 60. Once capacity is reached, the club will unfortunately have to refuse entrance.
- If you are participating in Touch Rugby 10:00-12:00, or are a club volunteer, you must submit your pro-active declaration in advance and your confirmation must be shown on arrival.
- Tables will be available for Touch players from 12:00-13:30.
- From 14:00 onwards all visitors must book a table in advance using this link https://forms.gle/3yMJ3waGBCc3mSmD9.
- Tables can be booked in two sessions: 14:00-16:00 and 16:30-18:30pm. We will confirm your booking by return email and your confirmation must be shown on arrival. Please do not attend if you do not have a booking confirmation for your group.
- The club is legally required to record and retain contact details of all visitors for Test & Trace purposes for 21 days.
- If you are not a player/coach/physio or volunteer you must login at our location on arrival, using the NHS Test & Trace app on your phone to scan the NHS QR codes, displayed at the access gates.
- The club must refuse entry to those who refuse to provide contact details or comply with scanning the NHS QR code.
- The club has invested in a new digital till system which will make smartphone table service and contactless card payments more convenient. Card payment is preferred, cash will be accepted if neccessary.
- Please show respect and patience for our club volunteers as we become familiar with the new equipment and processes.
Sundays
From this Sunday morning, 18th April, 10:00-12:00, the club will once again be providing a takeaway service, serving hot food and drinks to visitors.
- Contactless card payments and cash will be accepted.
- If you’re a player/coach/volunteer you must submit a pro-active declaration before arrival at the club.
- If you are a visitor or parent you must scan the NHS app QR code displayed at the access gates with your phone on arrival.
- Visitors are reminded to be mindful of congestion at entrances and access gates. Off the pitch, everyone should maintain 2m social distance between themselves and others. At this stage spectators are not allowed at community sport events. One parent/guardian is permitted to wait for their child whilst they train / play but parents must not huddle or mix with others on the touchline.
- Toilet facilities will be available on site but otherwise the clubhouse remains closed and there are no changing facilities available at this time.
- Nobody should come to the club if they are feeling unwell, have Covid 19 symptoms, or are living with anyone who has tested positive in the last 14 days.
As restrictions lift further next month, the club hopes to be able to provide indoor hospitality from the 17th May and is looking forward to screening the British Lions Tour and the Olympics and hosting many other social and sporting activities this summer. As always, please follow our social media for the latest updates on events as they become permissible.
Thank you for your continued support and respect for the rules. We look forward to seeing you this weekend and throughout the spring.
