BIG THANK YOU to all our volunteers yesterday (cooking breakfasts, pulling pints, dressing the clubhouse) whose efforts made the Rugby World Cup Final between England and the Springboks a memorable event. The room was rammed to the rafters. It was not the result (or ref) we wanted but it was a great club occasion for all ages.

Thanks to Lancashire RFU for thier support.  Thanks also to the parents who brought Junior players to the club to feature in a BBC Newsround report, we hope hope you all enjoyed the experience. Thanks to Lancashire RFU for thier support. And finally congratulations to our South African members and guests on your victory.

If you'd like to make a contribution to improving the rugby experience at Eccles RFC please get in touch at Many hands make light work. There are lots of roles and all offers of help are welcomed and appreciated.
