The proposed recommencement of Walking Rugby activites, planned for Monday 3rd August 7pm is postponed.
The purpose of the session, lead by Vicky Irwin from Sale Sharks, was to explore how we may be able to proceed enjoying Walking Rugby safely, under the prevailing Covid-19 restrictions. This is a new territory for us and this was to be a first step we hoped towards regular activity.
New players are welcome. Anyone interested in participation or recieving updates should contact Alan Bent on 07747 570345 and join the WR What’sApp group. A session register of names and contact details will be kept to assist with ‘Track and Trace’ should an infection be reported by an attending player.
The club will provide sanitiser but feel free to bring your own. Please bring your own labelled drinks bottle, PPE masks, gloves and anything you feel you need. Please remember our 3G pitch is studded boots only, flat soled trainers are not permitted as they increase the wear of the surface.
As we move forward this season the club will be looking for everyone attending Walking Rugby to be registered Eccles RFC members.
