Following a postponement of acitvites in early August, Walking Rugby is now back in full stride on Monday evenings, 7pm, on the 3G pitch. The first session was successfully held last night with 19 participants.
New players are welcomed and invited to contact Alan Bent 07747 570345 who will add your contact details to the WR What'sApp group and set up a player advance 'Proactive' declaration to be submitted before attending each session. A paper declaration is also available for those without a smartphone as a session register of names and contact details must be kept to assist with ‘Track and Trace’ should an infection be reported by a participant.
Players should bring hand sanitiser, a labelled drinks bottle and studded boots (flat-soled trainers are not permitted on our 3G pitch as they increase the wear of the surface).
As we move forward this season the club will be looking for everyone attending Walking Rugby to be registered club members.
