Eccles Rugby Football Club is a non-profit organisation, run by volunteers for its community and generously supported by local business. We believe in rugby for all, regardless of gender or ability and we value Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship in everything we do, both on and off the pitch.

Our thriving club is a hive of activity every weekend and evening during the week. But a Rugby Club does not run itself.  We can only achieve what we do through the support of our enthusiastic volunteers who give their time and skills to making the player and spectator experience at Eccles RFC the best it can be.

Eccles RFC has lots of different volunteer roles – some require training or qualifications but the club can offer guidance on this – and we encourage anyone who’d like to step up and get involved to do so. Your club can be better with your support and participation. If you would like to join the team or know more about it email us at
