What do we stand for? 

With over 127 years behind us, Eccles RFC is a progressive, inclusive rugby club, run by volunteers for the benefit of our community, with over 600 members, 500 active players and 21 teams for males and females, from 4 years old to adults.

We welcome support from businesses who share our ambition and passion. Sponsorship helps to maintain our facilities, keep the pitches cut, the showers hot and the floodlights shinning. It also helps to fund Community Rugby Coaching in Salford schools, introducing more young people to the game and their local club.

How could your business benefit?

Aside from supporting the many positive social, physical and mental health benefits of grassroots sport, sponsorship can be a great way to promote your company and costs can be a legimate tax allowable expense if they are incurred for the purposes of trade.

Association with our club could increase exposure of your business and put it in front of an audience you might not otherwise have had access to. Your brand logo and promotional message could be displayed in our match programme or on a pitchside advertising board at our Gorton Street ground. For even greater exposure your business logo could be proudly displayed on our playing shirts or warm up kit seen by a rugby community all over the North West region, or promoted to an audience of over 6,000 followers on our club social media chanels.  

As a gesture of appreciation, all our sponsors are displayed on the club website and recieve an invitation to the annual Eccles RFC Sponsor’s Match Day, at the end of the season with complimentary food and drinks. We can also offer match day hospitality packages and make our club facilites available to you for your buisness presentations and meetings throughout the year.

What does it cost? 

We take a flexible approach to sponsporship and are able to tailor packages to suit the interests, objectives and budget of your business.  Outlined below are a few guide examples to provide an indication of some the opportunties available. 

  • Please note fees quoted EXCLUDE VAT.

CLUB SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS

  • Pitch-side Advertising boards. 3m x 1m  (12 months / 1 season) - £500 +VAT
  • Match Programme advertisement full page (1 season) - £250 +VAT
  • Senior Player or coach Sponsorship (12 months / 1 season) - £150 +VAT

PLAYING KIT OPTIONS

  • Exclusive sponsorship of a rugby section or a team (Minis, Juniors, Girls, Colts, Senior Women, Senior Men) is available on a 2-season deal basis with negotiations for the new season typically taking place in May to allow for kit to be manufactured in the summer. Team kit will typically take 6 weeks to produce from order and approval of artwork to delivery. 
  • The chest, sleeves and back of our Senior or Junior playing shirts are available for sponsorship with fees between £1500 and £5000.
  • Sponsorship of our playing shorts is available from £3000. 
  • We do not adopt a 'standard fixed fee' for team sponsorship because the costs of kit production are influenced by the age and the number of players in a squad. If you are interested in exclusive sponsporship of a particular team please get in touch for a chat.
  • In addition to playing shirt sponsorship we can also provide the opportunity for promotional branding on training, travel and warm up kit. 


EXCLUSIVE 'PLATINUM' CLUB SPONSORSHIP

  • Association with all match day activity and Social Media for a specific Eccles RFC section. 
  • Componants of this package are flexbile.
  • For example, sponsorship could cover all four Mens teams; our team of Senior Rugby Physios; our entire Mini & Junior Section, our community coaching in local schools; or all our DofE award activity including expeditions. 
  • Fees available on request

EXCLUSIVE 'GOLD' SPONSORSHIP OF A SENIOR TEAM

  • Branded Team Match Shirt (x22 players)
  • Branded Team T Shirts (x22 players)
  • Branding on Social Media team posts (results, live scores, team sheets ect)
  • Branding on match day clubhouse TV screens.
  • Branding on club website with link to sponsor website.
  • 1 x Full page ad in our Printed/Digital Match Programme.
  • 1 X pitch-side hoarding (3m x 1m)
  • Framed photo of the team
  • 2 year deal
  • Fees available on request

EXCLUSIVE 'SILVER' SPONSORSHIP OF A SENIOR OR JUNIOR TEAM

  • Branding on Team Match Shirts or Training Tops (x22 Players)
  • Branding on Team T Shirts (x22 Players)
  • Social Media announcement
  • Branding on club website with link to sponsor website
  • 2 year deal
  • Fees available on request

EXCLUSIVE 'BRONZE' SPONSORSHIP OF A SENIOR OR JUNIOR TEAM

  • Branding on Team Match Shirts or Training Tops (x22 players)
