Eccles Walking Rugby continues to take place every Monday evening at 7pm on the club's new, floodlit, 3G turf pitch. New players, male and female, are always welcomed. It's an enjoyable, competitive, team passing game, popular with the over forties, particularly former Rugby and Netball players, and those looking to improve fitness or recover from injury. To play you need to be able to walk easily, throw and catch a ball. Match Fees are just £1.00 per session and your first time is free. Plus, at the end of play the bar is normally open! Please note: Jewellery must be removed before play begins. No flat sole shoes or trainers allowed on the new pitch ( they compact the surface and accelerate wear). Only clean boots, with studs (plastic, nylon, moulded, aluminium) or blades, to be used. Please check studs for sharpness and mud before you play.
